GENERAL PUBLIC EVENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

Event Time: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Location: 44259 Sierra Hwy, Lancaster, CA 93534
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all attendees, guests, visitors, and participants (“Attendees”) of the Fiesta For A Cause community event hosted by Universal Services Azteca (“Organizer”).
By entering the event premises, Attendees agree to comply with all Terms stated below.
1. Admission & Participation
This is a free, open-to-the-public community event.
Attendees may be encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy valued at $10 or more for the Toy Drive, but donations are voluntary.
Entry is subject to space, safety limits, and compliance with event rules.
2. Safety & Conduct
Attendees must behave respectfully and safely at all times.
Harassment, disorderly conduct, illegal activity, or endangering others will result in removal from the event.
The Organizer reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person who poses a risk to themselves or others.
Weapons, illegal substances, and dangerous items are strictly prohibited.
Attendees must follow all instructions from event staff and security.
3. Children & Minors
Children under 18 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
Parents/guardians assume full responsibility for their children’s safety and behavior.
4. Personal Belongings & Property
Attendees are responsible for the security of their own belongings.
Universal Services Azteca is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items, including:
phones, wallets, bags, or money
vehicles or vehicle contents
strollers, toys, or other personal property
Attendees bring personal items onto the premises at their own risk.
5. Health & Medical
Attendees assume all risks associated with participating in a public event, including exposure to illness, weather conditions, and physical activity.
Attendees with medical conditions should take appropriate precautions.
The Organizer is not responsible for medical incidents unrelated to event operations.
6. Food & Vendors
Food trucks and vendors are independent businesses responsible for their own products and services.
The Organizer is not liable for:
food quality
allergic reactions
illness caused by consumption
Attendees purchase and consume food at their own discretion.
7. Photography, Video, & Media Release
By entering the event, Attendees grant Universal Services Azteca permission to:
photograph, film, or record them
use images or recordings for promotional, marketing, archival, or social media purposes
This consent is granted without compensation and covers adults and minors under their supervision.
8. Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability
By attending the event, the Attendee understands and agrees:
Participation may involve risks including but not limited to:
crowds
physical activity
outdoor conditions
uneven surfaces
Attendees voluntarily accept all such risks.
Universal Services Azteca, its staff, volunteers, vendors, and affiliates are not liable for:
personal injury
illness
property damage
theft
accidents
loss of any kind
Attendees release and hold harmless Universal Services Azteca from all claims arising from participation in this event.
9. Event Modifications or Cancellation
The Organizer reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the event due to weather, safety issues, or unforeseen circumstances.
The Organizer is not responsible for any costs, losses, or damages resulting from such changes.
10. Compliance With Laws
Attendees must comply with all applicable:
local
state
federal laws
health and safety regulations
Violation of laws or event rules may result in removal or reporting to authorities.
11. Acceptance of Terms
Attendance at the event constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not enter the event premises.

VENDOR TERMS, CONDITIONS & LIABILITY WAIVER

This Vendor Terms, Conditions & Liability Waiver (“Agreement”) applies to all vendors, food trucks, participants, assistants, contractors, and representatives (“Vendor”) participating in the Fiesta For A Cause event hosted by Universal Services Azteca (“Organizer”).
By completing the Vendor Registration Form, Vendor acknowledges, understands, and agrees to the terms stated below.
1. Vendor Registration Requirements
Vendor booths are free, but registration is mandatory for participation.
Vendor spaces are limited and confirmed only upon written approval from the Organizer.
The Organizer reserves the right to deny, limit, or remove any Vendor whose conduct, products, or setup are deemed unsafe, unlawful, or inappropriate.
2. Insurance Requirements
All Vendors must provide proof of general liability business insurance or a one-day event insurance policy naming Universal Services Azteca as an Additional Insured for the event date.
Vendors without insurance may request inclusion under the event’s group vendor insurance policy for a non-refundable $25 fee, subject to approval and carrier terms.
Coverage is not guaranteed until confirmed by the insurance carrier and is limited to the policy’s express terms.
3. Coverage Limitations — Important Notice
The event’s insurance DOES NOT cover:
Vendor’s personal property, merchandise, equipment, electronics, displays, cash, or personal belongings.
Theft, loss, damage, vandalism, or weather-related damage.
Any Vendor’s employees, assistants, laborers, contractors, volunteers, or representatives.
Any non-event-related claims, injuries, or activity.
Vendors are solely responsible for securing their belongings and supervising their staff at all times.
4. Vendor Setup Responsibilities
Vendors must supply their own tables, chairs, tents, canopies, displays, equipment, supplies, and power sources unless otherwise arranged.
All booths must be securely weighted, safe, stable, and compliant with local safety standards.
Products and services offered must comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Food vendors must possess all required health permits and comply with county food safety regulations.
5. Conduct Requirements
Vendors must maintain professional, lawful, and respectful behavior at all times.
Harassment, discrimination, unsafe conduct, illegal activity, or disruption may result in immediate removal.
Children must be supervised by an adult.
Alcohol consumption is prohibited unless specifically licensed and approved.
6. Photo & Media Release
Vendor grants Universal Services Azteca permission to photograph, record, and use images or video of their booth or participation for promotional, archival, or marketing purposes without compensation.
7. Event Modification or Cancellation
The Organizer may modify, postpone, or cancel the event due to weather, safety concerns, emergencies, or other circumstances.
The Organizer is not responsible for Vendor expenses, losses, or damages resulting from event changes or cancellation.
Insurance fees (if any) are non-refundable.
8. LIABILITY WAIVER & HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
By registering, Vendor acknowledges and agrees:
A. Assumption of Risk
Vendor voluntarily assumes all risk of:
Injury to Vendor or Vendor’s staff
Damage to equipment, merchandise, displays, or personal property
Loss, theft, weather conditions, or accidents
Injuries or incidents involving Vendor’s booth, setup, or products
Vendor understands that participation involves inherent risks and accepts full responsibility for all such risks.
B. Release of Liability
Vendor releases, waives, and forever discharges Universal Services Azteca, its officers, directors, staff, volunteers, agents, and affiliates from all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or actions arising out of:
Participation in the event
Vendor’s booth, products, displays, or activities
Vendor’s employees, volunteers, or representatives
Any injury, illness, accident, or property loss
Use of event facilities or surrounding areas
C. Indemnification
Vendor agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Universal Services Azteca from all claims, damages, suits, losses, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from:
Vendor’s products, actions, omissions, or negligence
Vendor’s staff, assistants, volunteers, or representatives
Damage or injury caused by Vendor’s booth or participation
Violation of laws, codes, or regulations
D. No Guarantee of Coverage
Vendor acknowledges:
Event insurance does not cover Vendor’s property or personnel.
Vendor is responsible for their own insurance coverage.
Group policy inclusion is limited, conditional, and not guaranteed.
9. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting the Vendor Registration Form:
Vendor confirms they have read, understand, and agree to this Agreement in full.
Vendor accepts all responsibilities, liabilities, and obligations described herein.
Vendor acknowledges that this document is a legally binding contract.
10. DIGITAL CHECKBOX ACKNOWLEDGMENT (Required) (Found in Vendor Registration Form)
By marking the "I confirm that I have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to the Universal Services Azteca “Fiesta For A Cause” Vendor Terms, Conditions & Liability Waiver." I acknowledge that:
My electronic submission constitutes a legally binding digital signature under the ESIGN Act and California UETA.
I am authorized to enter this Agreement on behalf of myself and/or the business I represent.
I accept all liability releases, indemnification terms, insurance requirements, and responsibilities described in this Agreement.
I understand that failing to comply with these terms may result in denial or removal from the event.
I agree that checking this box has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.
